Overview
External access applies when a person outside your Organization is given access to a Property or Project. An External is not a member of your Organization. Their access comes from the Property roles or Project roles assigned to them.How External access works
An External with Property or Project access can:- Be invited even if they are not part of any Organization.
- Be assigned access without receiving a Global role in your Organization.
- Hold Property roles, Project roles, or both.
A person does not need to belong to an Organization to be assigned a Property or Project role.

How to invite an External to a Property
An External can be given Property access by inviting them directly to a Property role using their email address.1
Open the Property role
Open Roles within the Property, select the role level, then select the Property role.

Add members
Open the Members tab and click Add members.

Enter the External's email
In Recipients, enter the External’s full email address and press Enter.

Click Add members.
