Overview

ObservV uses QR codes to connect a physical location on site with the matching hotspot in the platform.
  • QR code. A physical code placed on site and assigned to a hotspot. When someone scans it, ObservV opens the linked hotspot. Access still follows ObservV permissions.
  • QR marker. A marker placed on a photo to show where the physical QR code is located on site.
QR code actions are managed from the hotspot. QR marker actions are managed from the photo using Photo QR actions. QR markers help people find QR codes in the real environment and check that the physical code is still present, visible, and correctly positioned.
